Hello, and welcome to the one and only (and I think first) RenjixRukia fanclub on Deviantart! This fanclub is dedicated to the Renji and Rukia pairing from the BLEACH anime/manga series by Kubo Tite.

What is Bleach?
Bleach is a manga/anime series by Kubo Tite that is currently running in the Shounen Jump in Japan. It has an anime series that is currently being subbed. The anime is at 37 episodes and counting, and the manga is at 182 chapters and counting.


Who is Renji?
Abarai Renji is the Vice-Captain of the Sixth Division led by Kuchiki Byakuya. His first appearance in the series makes him out to be a bit of a jerk, but his character is more and more fleshed out as the series progresses. He can be brash and arrogant, but inside he's rather caring, and he has a determination streak that's longer than his sword (which is pretty darn long xP). His Zanpakutou is called Zabimaru and it has the ability to stretch out into a whiplike fashion and lash out at enemies. It's pretty vicious.

His most distinguishing features are his tattoos and his flaming red hair that is often tied up into a spikey ponytail. He often wears some form of headgear.

Who is Rukia?
Kuchiki Rukia is a shinigami that is one of the main characters that is introduced early in the series. She came to the human world to fight hollows but ended up giving up her powers to Kurosaki Ichigo so he could fight against the Hollows himself. Her older brother is Kuchiki Byakuya, Captain of the Sixth Division and Renji's superior.

Rukia is also a Shinigami and also wields a Zanpakutou called <SPOILERS> Sodeno Shirayuki (Sleeve of the White Snow) </SPOILERS>

Her distinguishing features are her inability to draw well and her obsession with very cute things, i.e: Chappy the bunny. She also has large, doleful eyes and a very small frame, which tends to make her nimble. Most of the time she seems very official, possibly cold, but she is also very curious and very loving.
